Violin Lessons
– Colindale, North London

I provide personalised one-to-one violin lessons in person, helping students develop strong technique, musicality, and confidence in a supportive and enjoyable environment.

About the Teacher

I am a classically trained violin teacher with a Master of Arts in Music (HKBU), with a focus on Music for Young Children. I currently work as a violin course leader at a music holiday camp in London, where I guide students in developing both their technical skills and musical confidence in a structured and supportive environment. I began my violin studies under Russell Kan Wan To, a former violinist of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, which gave me a strong technical foundation from an early stage. I also have experience in live performances and studio recording from my time in Hong Kong.

Why Learn the Violin?

To me, learning a musical instrument is an experience. It brings color to our lives, opens the door to different eras, places, and cultures, and connects us with people from diverse backgrounds. Learning a musical instrument brings both challenges and rewards, and it can become a lifelong companion through life’s ups and downs.
